Beautiful little and friendly place with incredibly attentive staff. Amazing location next to the restaurant. And right by the Pico Do Fogo at 6:30 and Fogo island. Outstanding and fine food for breakfast. Excellent base for exploring Portela.

Was a lovely base for trip. The total stay was nice for the one night which was a cool experience. Stunning location in the hike to Pico do Fogo, and the rooms were spotless and lovely. Location: the hotel was really close to the `` bars '', and the island of Foto. Plus, it was easy walk to destroyed by lava.

Hotel's location was unique, on the volcano. Besides, it was so close to the Pico Do Fogo at 6:30 and the "bars " and the restaurant.

Particularly good room with a spectacular view as expected. Unique and super location next to the restaurant, good for visiting Portela. And close enough to the hike as well as Cape Verde.

The rooms at Casa Alcindo are absolutely cozy and homey, perfect for a longer business stay like mine. The private bathrooms with a shower were clean and convenient, and I never had to worry about sharing. Plus, the inclusion of a wardrobe in every room was a major bonus for keeping everything organized.

Personally, I would have preferred if there was a bathtub instead of just a shower. But hey, that’s just my preference and others might still appreciate the convenience of a quick shower.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Alcindo Bed & Breakfast in the Caldeiras area for one night. The people in this small community were incredibly kind and welcoming. The hotel owners, Leatitia and Alcindo, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even arranged a guide for our hike up Pico Do Fogo. The food at the hotel was delicious and made with local products. The peaceful surroundings and unique location in a volcanic crater made for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel for those seeking a one-of-a-kind getaway.
